I am confused about receipt date?
Notice date is when the receipt notice is generated- That's simple
Is receipt date the date when they do data entry into the system or is it the date when they receive the package even though they may do data entry a month later?
In other words people who filed there application on July 2nd,3rd etc ... and lets say USCIS takes 2 months to receipt those cases.. then after 2 months when the notice is generated won't it have a July 2nd receipt date? for July 2 filers?

Them democrats, they will never help us. Because as per them "we are stealing jobs". We should really start something like the flower campaign to expose all these double talkers. I mean go and see the youtube video by Hillary about how she likes legal immigrants and all that BS. Now contrast that with her "Ney" vote for an amendment which would have helped the legal immigrant community to a great extent. With the momentum that we have currently with media, we should really start exposing these people for who they are, a bunch of hypocrites!.

The priority date based on the person first entering/start wrking for US on H1B visa, or converting to a H1 status from any other visa status in the US is an excellent one. This is good idea and fair deal to everyone which in turn follows FIFO method.

SO,can we all try to get the unused visas recaptured.If they can do that for nurses and physical therapists ,they can do that to decrease retrogression.I dont think they require senate approval.

During previous phone call campaigns, our members came out w/huge numbers and were instrumental in getting the support. This I know because the Senators office phones were just constantly busy and once you started mentioning high skilled, they would know and finish your statements for you. This time though, that does not seem to be the case. Please, please step up. I just called 4 out of TIER 1 again.

My app was received at the NSC on June 28th at 9:02am. I havent receviced receipts or checks cashed. If for some reason my app is denied or there is a request for evidence after the 17th of Aug are we able to resubmit or will it be too late?

This is not true in most cases. The F1 might be for 2 yrs minimum + 1 year EAD + at least 2 yrs on H1B before the GC process starts. Then its 7+ years...
So overall, we are talking 10+ years to get permanant residency in a majority of cases.

Are we just talking about 2 yrs to see if there is going to be some reform?
If you don't want to get into the trouble of debating how many years, just say that it is unreasonable....
The best solution is to write the years you spent on F1 and H1B. You can add your additional pains also.
This will change each email also.

What the you talking about? USCIS isn't efficient at processing? Are you crazy?
There are a whole bunch of people on the ROW thread thread who think they are the picture of efficiency - they deny the existence of wasted visas due to inefficiencies in processing.

How about if we frame a well thought out letter..and present facts and start mass mailing - maybe once a month - every month. That we they will hear from us every month - in bulk.
How about if we dont use words like bonded etc and just repeatedly request the system to be repaired. Use of words like bonded etc can send a wrong signal.
We can also add our stories in there to give that emotional/human touch - eg. I can say that I have been in this country since 1999 and still waiting. If I look at my W-2s from 2001 (when I started working), I must have consistently paid about 10k in taxes to the Federal Govt and another 3k to the State every year. that makes my tax contribution to about 90k-100k in 8years..I think thats huge and I am still waiting, for being a tax paying and law abiding citizen just because the Immigration system is broken. I am a recruiter and I recruit US Citizens in large numbers for large govt projects, offering them really high salaries - while I am helping them "indirectly" realize their American Dream - my dreams are nowhere in the horizon. My wife works in the Child Welfare System and she helps broken families get back on their feet - while she is putting together their broken families - our family is still stranded in the system with no sign of moving forward.
Just a passing thought! I thought I should run this by you all. Thanks for reading.

First of all congratulations to ind_game.
Today I received NOID for not submitting AC21. My I-140 is not revoked. I received an RFE last month for birth certificate & updated g-325a form. In the g-325a form I mentioned my current employer which would have triggered NOID for AC21.
I left the GC sponsored employer after 9 years on May 2008 well after 180 days and joined an insurance company. The company got hammered by financial crises. So I left that company and joined other stable company on Dec 2009 as a full time employee.
My current job description is similar to the one mentioned on ETA but not same. I am not sure if changing 2 jobs will be a problem.
If anyone had submitted any documents for AC21 please share. I will really appreciate it.

Yes I believe that's what it means... If you date is not current or not about to become current in the next months, then your case would be unlikely to be adjucated...
